Jew's-ear \Jew's"-ear`\, Jew's-ears \Jew's"-ears`\, n. (Bot.) A widely distributed species of edible fungus (Auricularia auricula-judae, formerly Hirneola Auricula-Jud[ae], or Hirneola Auricula), bearing some resemblance to the human ear and growing on decaying wood.
