Arbitrate \Ar"bi*trate\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Arbitrated; p. pr. & vb. n. Arbitrating.] [L. arbitratus, p. p. of arbitrari to be a hearer or beholder of something, to make a decision, to give judgment, fr. arbiter. See Arbiter.]
