Allot \Al*lot"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Allotted; p. pr. & vb. n. Allotting.] [OF. aloter, F. allotir; a (L. ad) + lot lot. See Lot.]

1.To distribute by lot. [1913 Webster]
