orc \orc\ ([^o]rk), n. [L. orca, a kind of whale: cf. F. orque.]
1.(Zool.) Any of several cetaceans, especialy the grampus (Grampus griseus) of the dolphin family. [Written also ork and orch.] --Milton. [1913 Webster]
