   and gray millet, all prob. fr. F. gr?mil, cf. W. cromandi.]

   A plant of the genus Lithospermum (L. arvense), anciently
   used, because of its stony pericarp, in the cure of gravel.
   The German gromwell is the Stellera. [Written also
