Water buck \Wa"ter buck`\ (Zool.)
A large, heavy antelope (Kobus ellipsiprymnus) native of
Central Africa. It frequents the banks of rivers and is a
good swimmer. It has a white ring around the rump. Called
also photomok, water antelope, and waterbok.
