   1. (Med.) An eruption of small, isolated, acuminated
      vesicles, produced by the entrance of a parasitic mite
      (the Sarcoptes scabei), and attended with itching. It is
      transmissible by contact.

      scabei) which burrows and breeds beneath the human skin,

      horse and ox.
