Scrophulariaceous \Scroph`u*la`ri*a"ceous\, a. (Bot.) Of or pertaining to a very large natural order of gamopetalous plants (Scrophulariaceae, or Scrophularineae), usually having irregular didynamous flowers and a two-celled pod.
