Corallin \Cor"al*lin\, n. [So named in allusion to the color of
red corallin, fr. L. corallum coral.] (Chem.)
A yellow coal-tar dyestuff which probably consists chiefly of
rosolic acid. See Aurin, and Rosolic acid under
