Naples yellow, a yellow amorphous pigment, used in oil,
porcelain, and enamel painting, consisting of a basic lead
metantimonate, obtained by fusing together tartar emetic
lead nitrate, and common salt.

essentially of a lead oxychloride; -- called also
Turner's yellow.
