Pentagon \Pen"ta*gon\, n. [Gr. penta`gwnon; penta- (see Penta-) + gwni`a angle: cf. L. pentagonium, F. pentagone.] (Geom.) A plane figure having five angles, and, consequently, five sides; any figure having five angles.
